INDIGESTION
 

INDIGESTION
Also known as Dyspepsia. If there is no proper digestion of food then it is known as indigestion. This is not a disease. It is a symptom one can see in many diseases. Errors and irregularities in eating and drinking causes Dyspepsia e.g. to eat on and off, to eat more than required due to habit, to eat hurriedly etc.
Feeling heaviness in abdomen, pain in abdomen, nausea, vomiting, headache are symptoms in Dyspepsia.

  • Take 2 teaspoons of HONEY 3-4 times a day, as honey does not ferment. It is very useful in indigestion.
  • BANANA is best food. If indigestion is due to carbohydrates eat banana 1-3 times a day, as per your taste. It will be useful for you.
  • GRAPES are light for digestion. Hence can be used liberally. Those having delicate digestion eat 2-4 times a day.
  • Use LEMON juice 2-4 times a day before or after food. It produces more saliva in mouth and stomach (i.e. gastric juice). Hence good for digestion.
  • Take ORANGE juice for curing indigestion. It produces more digestive juices.
  • PINAPPLE is good for digestion. Eat after food, it get rid complaints of digestion.
  • When nothing is digested then take POMGRANATE. It is easy for digestion.
  • Drink COCONUT WATER (milk) for gases in stomach. Take a glass of it three hours after taking food.
  • GARLIC is useful in gases in stomach, discomfort in abdomen.
