GROWTH: BODY AND HEIGHT
Growth in size and length of a living being means body growth.
Height and weight is especially more at the time of puberty means for Age 14 to 18 years.

  • Include BUTTER in the every day diet. Height will be more. It contains 80% fat and vit. A & D.
  • BANANA with brown spots on the skin is riped one and best give it to children. It is easy for digestion and good for body growth.
  • MANDRINE to be eaten. It is useful in height increasing. 4 teaspoons to 1 cup of orange juice according to age may be given.
  • PEAS are best for growth. It contains superior quality proteins.
  • SOYABEAN or its milk is very useful for body growth.
  • Slow growth of body or less height, it may be due to deficiency of proteins. PULSES, PEANUTS, EGGS, MILK and fish are to be included in diet, for rich supply of proteins.
  • Calcium is necessary for body health and growth. Hence drink milk, pulses, sesame seeds, coriander seeds, fish etc.
  • Drink more WATER. It is useful.
  • RAGI grains (Elucine Coracana) to be given to children for proper and good growth.
