Baidyanath
founded in 1918, is a manufacturer of approximately 700 Ayurvedic
products and formulations. We have five modern factories where scientific
methods are used and hygienic conditions are observed to maintain
quality.
The
company has a Research Center approved by Government of India approved
comprising of a qualified team of Scientists.
Baidyanath publishes a number of books on Ayurveda, some of which
are used as text books in Ayurvedic Colleges. "Ayurved Sar
Sangrah" a publication containing formulations of Ayurvedic
products, is part of the pharmacopoeia, recognized by the Government
of India, under the First Schedule of Indian Drug and Cosmetic Act,
1940.
For
encouraging research & development, a quarter of a million rupees
is awarded every year for the best work on Ayurveda. We also run
an Ayurvedic College, some Charitable Hospitals and Dispensaries
throughout India.
